This privacy policy explains how SOS Socials (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles data in connection with our Facebook application.
1. What Data We Handle
Our application is a content curation tool. It is designed to read publicly available posts from Facebook Pages.
- We DO NOT collect or store any personal user data, such as names, email addresses, or user IDs from any user.
- We DO NOT collect any non-public information.
- The only data we process is the public text content from Facebook Page posts that we are monitoring.
2. How We Use Data
The public text content we read is used for the following purpose:
- The text is sent to the Google Vertex AI (Gemini) API to generate a unique, one-to-two sentence summary.
- This AI-generated summary, along with a link to the original Facebook post, is then published on our own Facebook Page: [Link to your Facebook Page].
- The original text is not stored or saved after the summary is generated.
3. Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties, other than sending the public text to the Google Vertex AI API for the sole purpose of summarization.
